Melissa Sparks

Melissa is responsible for helping businesses connect with Louisville’s billion dollar tourism industry. Her role is dedicated to maintaining and expanding strong partnerships with the local business community through our membership program, strategic partnerships, advertising and sponsorship opportunities, and executing special events, including the Bureau’s Annual Gala & Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Awards. Melissa also administers the CVB Community Investment Grant program.

Prior to joining the Louisville CVB in 2005, Melissa was Director of Marketing and Membership at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce for seven years, and before that, began her career at the National Tourism Foundation. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and holds a degree in Journalism-Advertising.
