Just added to our list of library research tools is ProQuest's new website "Black Freedom Struggle," featuring 1600 primary source documents like historical newspaper articles, pamphlets, diaries, correspondence, and more. Resources are from specific time periods in U.S. history marked by the opposition African Americans have faced on the road to freedom--from Slavery to the Jim Crow Era to the Civil Rights Movements and today.
