Overview
Umbrella Event Group was founded by Veronica Stivers (she/her), a dedicated and seasoned event manager based in Louisville, Kentucky. With a twenty-plus year career in every aspect of the hospitality industry, she has seen and done it all, and uses her expansive set of skills to make events run seamlessly. Veronica attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, where she studied Baking & Pastry. She lives by the Julia Child adage, “A party without cake is just a meeting.” After coming home to Louisville, she operated top restaurants, sold wine and spirits, coordinated multi-state events for a bourbon brand, and managed events at Louisville’s 21c Museum Hotel. In addition to corporate events, she plans and coordinates weddings and celebrations with Umbrella’s sister company Big Day Events.Veronica is a Certified Specialist in Wine by the Society of Wine Educators, as well as a Certified Executive Bourbon Steward by the Stave and Thief Society. She would love to have coffee (or a drink!) and talk about your event!
