5:30 PM | Gallery talk with Curator Scott Erbes in the Kentucky Gallery

5:30-6 PM Louisville Folk School Dulcimer Ensemble will play traditional mountain tunes on Kentucky’s official musical instrument, the Appalachian Dulcimer.

6 PM Cinema: Food and Country (ticketed separately)

6:15-6:45 PM Louisville Folk Choir

7-8 PM Ye Olde Timers playing Appalachian, fiddle and banjo tunes

8-8:30 PM Good River String Band is a dynamic trio from Kentucky, featuring Jodie Koch, Julia Purcell, and Deborah Payne.  With voices that flow like winding rivers and instrumental accompaniment from fiddle, banjo, and guitar, they craft a rich, traditional tapestry of sound.

8:45-9:45 PM Mama Said String Band brings a refreshing reinvention to Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana while focusing on vocal harmonies and contemporary instrumentation.

A fall-themed food and a cash beverage bar will be available to purchase from Est. 1927 by Marigold.

Every third Friday, the Museum will once again be open until 10 pm. Come experience the Speed “after hours” as you’ve never experienced it before.
