After The Flood

After the Flood is a documentary short that highlights the voices and experiences of Black communities in the Appalachian region, particularly in the wake of the historic flooding in Eastern Kentucky in the summer of 2022. This flood devastated the region, displacing families and altering the community landscape in ways that continue to have lasting effects. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the documentary makers and community members featured in the film.
