Discover the Great Barrier Reef Stories from a Marine Biologist

Do you enjoy TV programs on coral reefs? Would you like to hear from someone who spent nearly 2,000 hours underwater over ten years researching? The Falls of the Ohio State Park has a special presentation by Dominique McCowan, Falls of the Ohio interpretive naturalist. She obtained her PhD in marine biology in Australia and will discuss her adventures while studying the famous Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. Dom will share her album with photos of the Great Barrier Reef and its occupants while telling sea-faring tales, like being chased by barracuda and stand-offs with sharks. Some tropical rainforest stories will also be included. Admission to the program is free, but it doesn’t involve visiting the Interpretive Center exhibit gallery.
