Petrified Wood

Trees have been around since the Devonian Period, over 380 million years. These fossils are found in different geological periods across the world. Dale Brown will bring in examples of petrified wood (many are very beautiful) as well as some fossil leaves. He will talk about the history of trees with fossils. Free program meets in the rotunda.
