Raptor Day

Jared Everett, Interpreter with the Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Center at Hardy Lake, will bring raptors from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A variety of activities will be led with park volunteers inside the Interpretive Center. There will be two live bird programs: Daytime Raptors* at 11 AM (planned species to see include the Red-Tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Turkey Vulture, and Bald Eagle) and Nocturnal Raptors* at 2 PM (focuses on owls, including the Barred Owl, Barn Owl, and Great-Horned Owl ).

*Birds displayed will depend on their condition for travel that morning.

Program requires regular admission, $9 age 12 & up, age 5 to 11, age 4 & under – free. Limited to 100 tickets per show.
