Sulf-Ides of March
Enjoy some wordplay and celebrate the Ides of March with an informative program about metals called ‘sulfides.’ These minerals have been used long before Julius Caesar ran into a metal blade. Sulfide minerals are essential in our lives from tools to buildings. Crystals are attractive to mineral collectors for display. Naturalist Alan Goldstein brings some pretty crystals and tell stories of how they were formed and their uses.
