What has branches but isn't a tree? Paleontology Explorer
Branching is shared is nature. Trees may be the most familiar, but they weren’t the first – by a long shot. We will examine marine fossils that branch – corals, bryozoans, and others – and discuss why branches form. What else branches in nature that isn’t alive? Come find out. Park naturalist and paleontologist Alan Goldstein will present this free program in the rotunda.
