At Work the Metal, we aim to provide a positive and exciting shopping experience for our customers. As an employee of Work the Metal, you will be part of the fast-paced team atmosphere in showing our customers they are valued by welcoming them, ringing up items, and answering questions with a positive attitude. As you help prepare the store and assist customers, teamwork plays a big part, therefore you are expected to work well with and respect co-workers. Required Skills & Responsibilities: Creating a fun & exciting shopping environment for our customers by assisting with products, gift boxing, and providing positive customer service. Operating an upscale cash register & handling money. Able to follow rules, regulations, and procedures—take initiative in asking questions & verifying measures. Is team oriented & works well with others. Able to work in a fast-pace environment. Able to physically work 6+ hours standing, moving, and assisting customers. Clean & maintain housekeeping duties to ensure the store looks neat & tidy. Present self in clean, put-together attire (business casual). Qualifications: Retail experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work every Saturday in November & December. Perks of the Job: No late night hours! We close at 5pm & usually employees are out by 6pm! Generous discount on all merchandise. Fun atmosphere of positive attitudes, support, & genuine care for our employees.
