Asia Institute – Crane House to Host Inaugural Philippines Independence Day Celebration June 14

A free community event celebrating Filipino culture, cuisine, and heritage at Fourth Street Live

LOUISVILLE, KY (April 17, 2025) — Asia Institute – Crane House (AICH), in partnership with Fourth Street Live!, Louisville Downtown Partnership, and Cultura Philippines, will host Louisville’s first Philippines Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 4–8 p.m. at Fourth Street Live!

The free, family-friendly event will showcase Filipino culture through food, music, dance, and small business vendors. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes, cultural exhibits, and performances celebrating the Philippines’ independence from Spanish colonial rule in 1898.
