Feeding On A Successful First Year, Louisville’s Black Chef Showcase Returns
Event shines a spotlight on Louisville’s culinary talent
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 31, 2024)— The city of Louisville is set to experience a culinary celebration like no other with the second annual Louisville Black Chef Showcase on Sunday, August 18 at Louisville’s Mellwood Arts Center.
This dynamic event, conceptualized by the award-winning Chef of Le Moo Steakhouse, Henry Wesley III, aims to spotlight the extraordinary talents of Louisville’s black chefs and celebrate their creativity and contribution to the community. Proceeds will be donated to Western High School’s culinary program to provide the necessary equipment, training, and opportunities for future generations of chefs.
Event attendees will experience a rich tapestry of local Louisville flavors, entertainment, and interaction with some of Bourbon City’s most talented chefs. Guests will vote for their favorite bites, from beloved Southern classics to innovative fusion dishes.
Last year's inaugural event was a sell-out. Tickets for this year are available online for $65.
