Hundreds to attend Leadership Summit
"Leading for the Future” is focus, with 10+ speakers including Connectional Intelligence expert Erica Dhawan, Futurist Dr. Nat Irvin II and leaders at Amazon, Brown-Forman, El Toro, U of L, and more
Louisville, Kentucky (February 20, 2017) – For the fourth year, the Leadership Louisville Center’sLeadership Summit on March 9, 2017 will attract hundreds from the Louisville region for a day of learning, discovery and connection around the theme Leading for the Future. PNC Bank is the presenting sponsor for the Summit, which will be from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, 501 W. Main St., Louisville, KY. There will be three keynote speakers, six breakout session choices, interactive experiences throughout and a closing cocktail and networking reception – see “More about 2017 Leadership Summit” for complete agenda.
Keynote speakers are Erica Dhawan, an author, strategist and the world’s foremost expert on collaboration and connectional intelligence; Dr. Nat Irvin, II, author, innovator, futurist, teacher, composer and commentator and Woodrow M. Strickler Executive in Residence and Professor of Management Practice for the College of Business at the University of Louisville; and Trey Grayson, President & CEO of the NKY Chamber of Commerce and former KY Secretary of State and Director of Harvard University’s Institute of Politics.

When he was seven years old, Grayson went to the old Showcase Cinemas in Erlanger, Kentucky to watch the greatest movie ever made, “Star Wars.” Little did he know how often he would draw upon the “Star Wars” saga for lessons throughout the rest of his life – such as deciding whether to run for office, becoming a better leader, lawyer or politician, or even trying to woo his wife.
Trey Grayson is currently the President & CEO of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. From 2011 to June 2014, he served as the Director of Harvard University’s Institute of Politics. While at Harvard, Trey was known as an expert on the political views of millennials and the role of technology in politics and government. Prior to his time at Harvard, he was a two-term Secretary of State of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
