Kentucky Bourbon Sold at Louisville Airport
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 28, 2017) – Travelers at Louisville International Airport (SDF) now have another option to take home a piece of the Bluegrass – their very own bottle of Kentucky Bourbon.
Package liquor sales recently began at the airport and a variety of local Kentucky distilled spirits are now available for purchase. You can pick up a bottle at the Distillery District Marketplace located in the rotunda beyond the security checkpoint.
“We’re so excited to work with Paradies Lagardère to provide this carry-on option to travelers, especially those visiting to enjoy the state’s Bourbon craft,” said Karen Scott, Interim Executive Director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority. “Whether you’re arriving or departing – this allows visitors to have a taste of Kentucky.”
Adds Greg Paradies, president and CEO of Paradies Lagardère: “We’re thrilled and appreciative of our long-standing partnership with the Louisville International Airport. Now that our Distillery District Marketplace concept, which opened this year, has the ability sell travelers packaged alcohol, visitors will be able to shop locally for gifts and other items to commemorate their visit to Bourbon Country.”
The following brands are currently available for purchase at the Distillery District Marketplace: Angel’s Envy, Bulleit, Evan Williams, Four Roses, Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Maker’s Mark, Old Crow and Wild Turkey.
Additional selections are expected to be available in the coming months.
