Kentucky Craft Bash returns to Waterfront Park on June 28

The annual beer festival is the single, largest fundraiser for the Kentucky Guild of Brewers nonprofit and presale tickets are on sale now

LOUISVILLE, Ky (April 3, 2025) This summer, the Kentucky Guild of Brewers returns to host its 8th annual Kentucky Craft Bash beer festival fundraiser at Waterfront Park’s Brown-Forman Lawn — a new location for the event this year. The event will take place on Saturday, June 28.

What sets Kentucky Craft Bash apart from other craft beer festivals is that it turns Waterfront Park into Kentucky’s largest taproom — featuring craft beers, cider, and seltzers from solely Kentucky breweries. In addition, the brewers and brewery staff are the ones pouring the suds, giving attendees a chance to meet the brewery staff that make their products.

The five-hour festival features 50+ breweries from across the Commonwealth, providing festival goers the chance to try beers from breweries they may not normally visit outside of Louisville and Lexington, like Hopkinsville Brewing Company, Alexandria Brewing Company, River Forge Brewery (Brandenburg), and Flywheel Brewing (Elizabethtown).

“I always look forward to Craft Bash,” said Charley Hamilton, owner of Dreaming Creek Brewery in Richmond, KY. “It gives Dreaming Creek Brewery a chance to share our beers with lots of folks who may not otherwise try them. It also gives us a place to network with all the other breweries in Kentucky and share our industry stories. It’s truly a unique industry that we’re in and the camaraderie amongst brewers is awesome.”

In addition to a day filled with over 150 beer samples, the festival also features local vendors, food, and music. This year’s Craft Bash will include DJ Sam Sneed, Kentucky Wildlife, Hawley Trucker Hat Bar, Love Dog Bowtique, Forevermore Record Bus, as well as Red Top, Wild Bill’s Beer Cheese, Ramiro’s Cantina, and Kentucky Hop Water.

Proceeds from the festival benefit the Kentucky Guild of Brewers, a nonprofit organization advocating for the craft beer industry in Kentucky.
