Louisville Hosting 2nd Largest US Trade Show

Twenty-eight acres of construction and utility equipment, products and technologies.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (September 26, 2017) — The International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) returns to the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) Oct. 3-5, and is estimated to generate $16 million in economic impact for Louisville. The biannual trade show is currently ranked as the second largest in the U.S. by Trade Show Executive magazine.

ICUEE is the premiere event for utility professionals and construction contractors, providing comprehensive insight into the latest innovations and trends affecting their industries. More than 18,000 attendees are expected to explore this year’s record 28 acres of equipment, products and technologies.

The International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition first partnered with the Kentucky Exposition Center in the 1980s. The exhibition required a facility with indoor and outdoor exhibit space capable of handling demos and test drives for cranes, earth-movers and heavy duty trucks. KEC was – and continues to be – uniquely qualified to deliver whatever it takes to make ICUEE a success.

Known as the “Demo Expo”, ICUEE offers attendees unique, hands-on opportunities both inside and outside the Kentucky Exposition Center.

  • Machinery is exhibited in job-like conditions so attendees can experience equipment “in the field” – at ground level, underground and overhead.
  • A two-mile test drive zone provides hands-on experience so attendees can learn about the latest technology in on-road equipment.
  • A demo stage and field classrooms provide attendees additional demo and learning opportunities.

ICUEE serves utilities providing electric, telecommunications/cable, natural gas, water and wastewater services, as well contractors providing utilities with infrastructure engineering and construction services. The event is closed to the public. For more information, visit www.icuee.com.
