Louisville Tourism Names New Director of Northeast Sales
Louisville Tourism has hired Elizabeth Berry, responsible for Northeast sales territories
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (August 6, 2021) – Louisville Tourism has hired Elizabeth Berry as Director of Northeast Sales, responsible for Northeast sales territories. Berry will begin her new position on Monday, August 16.
Berry has an extensive sales background in the meetings and event industry with a solid nine-year career working for The Baltimore Convention Center, most recently as the Assistant Director of Sales.
“We are thrilled to have Elizabeth joining our convention sales team,” said Doug Bennett, Executive Vice President for Louisville Tourism. “Her extensive sales background and contacts from her time with the Baltimore Convention Center is exactly what we were looking for to represent Louisville in the Northeast territory.”
Berry’s responsibilities include promoting and selling Louisville as a convention, meeting and trade show destination to Washington, Maryland and Virginia area-based national associations, government organizations and corporations. She will also serve as the official representative for Louisville Tourism in the Washington market and act as a liaison between the Louisville Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), hotels, convention facilities and potential clients.
Berry graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a double major in Art History and English Literature. She will be active in several membership-based hospitality industry organizations including PCMA, ASAE and the Northeast CVB Rep’s organization.
Berry has earned her Certified Association Sales Executive (CASE) and was selected as a “Who’s Who” by Tradeshow Executive Magazine in 2019. She will be based in Baltimore.
