Not just Taco Tuesday: Louisville Celebrates Taco-Themed Restaurant Week
April 12-18 week to feature two-dollar tacos
Louisville, KY (April 5, 2021) From Burger Week and Pizza Week to Restaurant Week, Louisville has a wide range of week-long devotions to America's favorite foods. Coming this Spring, there is a new dish-centric celebration to sink your teeth into.
The inaugural Louisville Taco Week debuts April 12-18, Taco Tuesday to a whole new level along with offering $2 tacos. Participating restaurants will offer specialty $2 tacos all week, with some restaurants offering up to three different taco options.
For seven days taco lovers will have the opportunity to visit (or takeout) participating Louisville Taco Week locations to enjoy $2 tacos (minimum 3). The event, brought by the organizers of Louisville Burger Week, Louisville Pizza Week and Louisville Restaurant Week, and was created to get people to embrace the food and culture of Louisville while getting them out to try new taco and margarita offerings around the city.
Louisville Taco Week passports will help guide taco lovers to participating restaurants — passports will be stamped by the restaurant for each order of tacos ordered. Enjoy a el Jimador Tequila cocktail and receive an extra stamp (Must be 21+). Passports can be picked up at a participating Taco Week location starting Monday April 18th or online at tacoweeklouisville.com. Earn a stamp from 4 or more participating locations on your passport to be entered to win the grand prize of $250 in gift cards and el Jimador swag.
