Nulu Bock Fest Returns For Its 8th Year With Goat Racing, Bock Beer, Wurst Fest & More
Free Event to Feature New Fun Run & Pre-Parties Leading Up to Main Event
LOUISVILLE, Ky. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (January 23, 2025) – The much-anticipated NuLu Bock Fest, hosted by the NuLu Business Association, returns for its 8th year on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the heart of Louisville. This lively, free event celebrates the season’s change with an homage to bock beer, goat racing, and festive activities for all ages.
NuLu, short for "New Louisville," is renowned for its vibrant art galleries, unique shops, and sustainable, locally sourced restaurants. This culturally rich neighborhood blends historic charm with modern energy, making it a destination for residents and visitors alike. The hip and artsy NuLu neighborhood earned recognition from AFAR magazine in 2024 as one of the ‘Best Food Neighborhoods in the USA,’ with numerous NuLu restaurants also receiving individual accolades.
This year’s NuLu Bock Fest introduces the inaugural NuLu 502 Fun Run/Walk, a 502-foot “micro marathon” kicking off the event at 11:30 AM on Clay Street. Additional event highlights include:
-Jefferson County Farm Bureau Goat Races: Eight thrilling races, including the fan-favorite Forecast Dash Baby Goat Race at 3:30 PM, where Louisville meteorologists compete for a $500 charitable donation.
-Family-Friendly Activities: Tipping Tractor, Bessie the Milking Cow, a petting zoo, the Bubble Truck, and more.
-Local Breweries and Cocktails: Enjoy exclusive 2025 bock beers, craft cocktails, Bulleit Bourbon specialty drinks, and freshly made margaritas at the Patron Tequila Shack.
-Annual Wurst Fest: Local chefs compete to be crowned “Best of the Wurst.”
