Old Louisville Garden Tour Offers a Look into Private Green Spaces

Tour the Gardens of the Nation’s Largest Victorian Residential Neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky (April 3, 2025) - The 31st Annual Old Louisville Hidden Treasures Garden Tour returns on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. This beloved event invites garden enthusiasts to explore the private, rarely-seen green spaces tucked within the nation’s largest Victorian residential neighborhood. Guests will have the unique opportunity to stroll through beautifully maintained gardens that highlight the charm and history of Old Louisville.

In addition to the garden tour, attendees can enhance their experience with a combo ticket that includes access to the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum for just $10 more. This self-guided tour is available through the end of July and offers a special June exhibit: a recreated indoor Victorian garden. Drawing from historical research, the museum showcases what homes looked like when outdoor gardening wasn’t possible, featuring traditional Victorian-era plants throughout the interior.

The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum lawn at 1402 St. James Court will also host a variety of vendors offering plants and garden-related products. Inside the air-conditioned Caldwell Hall, guests can browse a silent auction with Father’s Day baskets, garden items, and entertainment packages. Complimentary sweets and savories will be available in the Caldwell Hall Hospitality Center. Over at the DuPont Inn Bed and Breakfast, the “Art in the Garden” event returns, featuring local artists creating and selling their work in the garden from noon to 5:00 p.m. all weekend.
