The 6th Annual Fête de Noël will return on Nov. 29 and will be open through Jan. 5

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (November 12, 2024)—Paristown announced the 6th Annual Fête de Noël will return on Nov. 29 and will be open through Jan. 5. The six-week winter holiday festival includes a newly enlarged outdoor real holiday ice skating rink located in the heart of Paristown.

Fête de Noël will also feature a charming trackless train, Santa’s House with Santa visits and take-your-own photos, the Brent Street Holiday Market with 20 local market shoppes, all in a delightful atmosphere filled with festive decorations, holiday music, and tasty food and beverage options to please everyone.

The Brent Street Holiday Market returns with 20 shoppes filled with holiday gift items from local and regional vendors. The market is free and open to the public and officially opens on Black Friday, Nov. 29 at 11am. The market is also open for Small Business Saturday the following day, Nov. 30, as well as on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Santa’s House will have varied operating hours and will be open through Dec. 23rd. The cost is $10 per family (up to six) for a Santa visit with photos. Personal photos are permitted and encouraged so families can cost-effectively use their own photos to create Christmas cards and mementos.

Fête de Noël programming includes a UofL Hockey scrimmage with a meet and greet with the players, “Holiday Music Over Ice, Live from the Korbel stage” on Thursday nights, a special performance of Nutcracker on Ice, presented by the Louisville Skating Academy, the 5th Annual “Drag Queens on Ice,” benefitting Kentuckiana Pride Foundation, as well as many other special events.

New this year, Paristown will host the inaugural Skillet Curling Competition at Fête de Noël. Sixteen teams from Southern Indiana and Louisville restaurants and bars will compete for the coveted “Golden Skillet.” Proceeds from the competition will benefit Apron Inc. whose mission is to provide temporary, limited financial relief to professional food and beverage workers in the Louisville metro area.

Paristown is also a Toys for Tots collection point and visitors are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child ten and over during opening weekend. The annual Marine Corps 12-hour challenge takes place on Friday, Dec. 6 from 6:30am – 6:30pm. Last year, the Marine Corps. Toys for Tots program donated nearly 60,000 toys to nearly 22,000 kids in Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Owen, Breathitt, and Letcher Counties.

Stoneware & Co., the iconic Kentucky lifestyle brand located in Paristown and known for unique, hand-crafted treasures perfect for holiday gift giving, will maintain special holiday hours in their spectacular retail space. Stoneware & Co. will be participating in a number of special promotional events throughout the holiday season and will continue to feature their popular “paint your own” Christmas ornament experience.
