Pop-Up Festival Returns
ReSurfaced returns for summer schedule.
ReSurfaced, the popular pop-up street festival will kick off a summer calendar of events next week at its Liberty Street location.
ReSurfaced The Liberty Build will open on Thursday, June 15, from 6 to 10 p.m. The night’s entertainment will include a soccer tournament between the staff of Louisville FC and the Louisville Coopers.
After the June 15 event, regular hours for ReSurfaced will be 4-11 p.m. on the first and third Fridays and Saturdays of every month through October. The first weekend will include the second annual Slow Food Bluegrass Taco Challenge on from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 17.
ReSurfaced is a project of local business City Collaborative with the support of Louisville Metro Government and other local sponsors. The three-quarter acre lot in the Phoenix Hill neighborhood has been reimagined by volunteers adding trees and landscaping, Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey shipping containers and a bourbon garden.
