LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 15, 2019) - The historic Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville has been named one of the top ten best hotels in the South in 2019 by Southern Living magazine. The Brown’s ranking also distinguishes it as the Best Hotel in Kentucky.
As the ultimate insiders’ guide to Southern culture, Southern Living unveils the annual list as part of its South’s Best 2019 series, including best restaurants, chefs, cities, small towns and bars. Finalists are chosen by the magazine’s online readers through a questionnaire. In the hotel category, readers were asked to name their favorites with choices ranging from hotel age, style and location. Southern Living says the South’s Best Hotels share common traits including impeccable service, great style and originality. They also reflect and show appreciation for their city, characteristics the Brown Hotel strives to achieve with every guest.
Guests of the Brown enjoy luxurious accommodations with southern hospitality. The hotel’s ornate Lobby Bar features over 100 Bourbons and was one of the original stops on the city’s Urban Bourbon Trail.
