USA Today Names Two Louisville Sports Attractions Among Nation's Best

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 9, 2024) – Two of Louisville’s iconic sports attractions, the Kentucky Derby Museum (#3) and the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory (#5), are celebrating top five rankings in the recent Best Attraction for Sports Fans in USA Today’s 2024 Readers' Choice Awards.

The Kentucky Derby Museum is also marking a record-breaking year, surpassing all previous attendance milestones. The museum welcomed an all-time high of 258,382 guests during the fiscal year 2024, which spanned from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. This marked a 2.7% increase over the previous year’s record-setting numbers, solidifying the Kentucky Derby Museum's status as one of the top cultural and sports destinations.

The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory has also been a visitor hotspot, hosting over 310,000 visitors in 2023.
