Small Business Cultural Grants
Helping small cultural businesses connect to tourism.
The Louisville Tourism cultural tourism grant opportunity for cultural minority small businesses broadens the number of traditionally underrepresented groups within the Louisville Tourism partnership program. Companies that apply should have focused tourism and travel marketing goals and fit within Louisville Tourism major/minor category parameters. The scholarship provides a one-year hospitality-level ($400) partnership with Louisville Tourism. This level includes an extensive listing on GoToLouisville.com with photos, social media, contact links, maps, and a description of your business.
You will also be eligible to receive:
- Referrals and lead opportunities from our team
- Convention and event advisories
- Complimentary invitations to attend hospitality-related meetings, training, and networking opportunities
- Tourism development updates from Louisville Tourism
To be eligible:
- Cultural minority businesses must be at least 51% minority-owned, managed, and controlled
- Non-profit or for-profit enterprises are eligible but must be physically located in the Louisville area
- Management and daily operations must be exercised by the minority ownership member(s)
- Business must be a new partner
Submit the following:
- Complete the Louisville Tourism partner application
The application process:
- The scholarship process can take up to 30 days for review and approval
- Application and documents are reviewed for completeness
- A site visit is conducted by Louisville Tourism representatives to be educated on your services
- If awarded a grant, businesses can reapply the following year(s) for up to three years. However, the partnership level will only be partially granted (i.e., 2nd-year dues investment: $180, 3rdyear: $240, 4th year: full dues level)
