Urban Bourbon Trail® Application
For 2025 consideration, materials and payment must be submitted by February 20, 2025.
The Urban Bourbon Trail® (UBT) is a cocktail and culinary experience designed to showcase Kentucky’s signature product, Bourbon, in an authentic setting. While it’s hard to define exactly what a “Bourbon bar” is, we want to emphasize the Trail’s focus on establishments that highlight the best of our bourbon heritage. A specific focus, education, and level of professionalism surrounding bourbon is important to the UBT in meeting customer expectations.
The following criteria, application and renewal process help us maintain the quality and authenticity of this cultural heritage hospitality program. We want locals and visitors to have a unique experience that they will want to share with others to help us spread the word about Louisville in hopes of growing our annual visitation.
We welcome the establishments that want to help further the city’s reputation as a Bourbon destination. Please note that while this program may hopefully benefit your business, it’s NOT intended as just a seasonal promotion to help drive new customers. Consider carefully why you want your establishment to be a member of the UBT. If Bourbon is a relevant part of your daily customer experience and you’re committed to sharing that message, we welcome your participation.
Cheers,
Your UBT point person: Nicole Fitzpatrick with Louisville Tourism (nfitzpatrick@gotolouisville.com)
